IMDS Conflict Minerals (CM) Analyzer

To help the IMDS user community understand and comply with US Conflict Minerals Act legislation. DXC's IMDS CM Analyzer provides IMDS users with the fastest and easiest method available to examine their suppliers' existing material data sheets (MDSs) and locate conflict minerals within their products. IMDS users can then choose to establish a connection from the IMDS CM Analyzer to DXC's Compliance Data Exchange (CDX), and to have CDX automatically produce and email requests to their suppliers to ask them to submit a Conflict Mineral Declaration in CDX. These new capabilities facilitate compliance by streamlining the conflict mineral location, identification, and feedback request processes, thus automating all operations in a straightforward fashion throughout the entire supply chain.

How to Use the IMDS CM Analyzer

Users with valid credentials in both IMDS and CDX can use the IMDS CM Analyzer for free. IMDS Users with a valid IMDS-a2 license can use the IMDS CM Analyzer functions in the IMDS-a2 application. Although use of the CDX base functionality, such as creating a CMD or sending a CMD back to the requestor is free-of-charge, incorporating received CMDs into your own CMD requires a CMD Manager license for an annual fee of $ 2,850.
