Join the 2019 Heavy Equipment & Auto Suppliers Summit on Tuesday & Wednesday June 25-26, 2019 in Nashville, TN for a premier event about Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) regulations, business impacts, and industry-wide cooperative efforts addressing the challenges. This 1½ day summit will discuss expanding global legislation, varying customer compliance requirements, and internal best practices. Known experts in the automotive and heavy equipment arenas will talk about full material disclosure (FMD) and how addressing regulatory challenges such as REACH, RoHS, & California Prop 65 allow for risk assessment of potential supply disruptions such as extreme weather, critical mineral shortages, or geopolitical aspects along with material substitutions necessary because of substance bans.
- The morning sessions will cover impacting environmental product legislation and supply chain impacts. Brief overviews of EU REACH with emphasis on Article 33 obligations for reporting of SVHC levels in individual materials and components. Delve into the role of technology, including block-chain communication, on data systems in use or under investigation by industry OEMs.
- The afternoon will introduce functions of IMDS, the automotive end-of-life database since 2003 and CDX proposed by other industries, which allows for multiple regulation analysis.There will be case study examples for complex durable products.
- Supplier panel will capture and hopefully answer attendee questions and concerns.

Starts with a deeper dive of reporting requirements including electronics data exchange standards, Full Material Disclosures versus compliance statements or summary information and how to maximize data within company management.
