CDX Enhances PFAS Reporting with IAEG List Integration

January 07, 2025

The Compliance Data eXchange (CDX) system has successfully integrated the International Aerospace Environmental Group (IAEG) PFAS List (IAEG-PL), enhancing PFAS reporting capabilities for the Aerospace and Defense (A&D) industry. This enhancement, implemented on December 30, 2024, directly addresses the growing concerns surrounding per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in the sector.

The integration provides A&D companies with an effective tool to manage PFAS-related information, focusing on substances actively used in the A&D industry, including those in products and materials for maintenance, repair, and overhaul. This targeted approach enables more efficient and comprehensive data collection on PFAS presence and usage throughout supply chains.
Implemented in response to client requests, this update demonstrates CDX's commitment to meeting customer needs and addressing critical industry concerns. It aligns with evolving global PFAS regulations and reporting requirements, positioning CDX users at the forefront of compliance efforts.

CDX users can now utilize the IAEG-PL for substance declarations and to support their supply chain efforts, streamlining PFAS-related compliance activities and improving PFAS information management across operations.
