Highlights from December RAC and SEAC meetings

In their December meetings, the Risk Assessment Committee (RAC) and SEAC reached provisional conclusions on PFAS manufacturing, while SEAC also concluded evaluations for electronics and semiconductors. Both committees continued examining horizontal issues relevant to the entire restriction, including concentration limits, PFAS management plans, recycling, spare parts, and enforceability.
The committees aim to finalize discussions in March 2026, with RAC adopting its final opinion and SEAC agreeing on its draft opinion, which will then trigger the consultation period. More information can be found here
