New Candidate List Package Available for SCIP as of 12 March 2026

March 12, 2026

As of 12 March 2026, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has published a new version of the Candidate List Package, available on the ECHA website
Following this release, SCIP uploads in CDX now consider the updated Candidate List Package. This means that SCIP notifications created in CDX are aligned with the latest reference data provided by ECHA.
The ability to include newly listed Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) in SCIP dossiers depends on the availability of the official SCIP reference substance package published by ECHA. With the release of the new package on 12 March 2026, this requirement has now been fulfilled.
As a result, users can proceed with SCIP notifications based on the most recent Candidate List reference data, ensuring consistency with ECHA’s current requirements.
This update supports accurate and compliant SCIP reporting and reflects CDX’s ongoing alignment with official ECHA publications.
If you have any questions regarding this update or its impact on your SCIP submissions, please contact the CDX team.
