April 29, 2025

The European Union continues advancing its PFAS restriction proposal through ECHA's scientific committees. RAC reached provisional conclusions for transport and energy applications, while SEAC began preliminary discussions (Link). The committees will continue their assessment in June 2025, focusing on:

  • Medical devices (RAC and SEAC)
  • Lubricants (RAC and SEAC)
  • Transport (SEAC cont.)
  • Energy (SEAC cont.)
