PRISM Training Resources Available for PFAS Product Reporting

May 04, 2026

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) has published the first set of instructional videos for the PFAS Reporting and Information System for Manufacturers (PRISM). PRISM is the reporting platform through which manufacturers must submit their PFAS product disclosures under Amara's Law (Minn. Stat. § 116.943).

Three videos are currently available on YouTube, addressing account setup, user administration, and report creation. These are intended to be used alongside the PRISM user guide and the supplemental reporting guide, which covers specific reporting scenarios manufacturers are likely to encounter during data entry. Further videos are expected to follow later this spring.

Manufacturers are advised to consult both guides before beginning data entry, as early familiarity with the platform will reduce the risk of reporting errors and support timely submission ahead of the September 2026 deadline. Technical support is available via prism@theIC2.org, and questions on reporting requirements can be directed to pfasreporting.mpca@state.mn.us. Where appropriate, MPCA may invite manufacturers to virtual office hours sessions to resolve more complex queries.

Further guidance is available on the MPCA's PFAS in products reporting webpage.
