2024-08-19 - CDX Integrates Aerospace and Defense Declarable Substances List (AD-DSL) Version 8.0

We are excited to announce that the Aerospace and Defense Declarable Substances List (AD-DSL) version 8.0, released by the International Aerospace Environmental Group (IAEG), has been successfully integrated into the CDX system. This update ensures that our platform remains aligned with the latest regulatory requirements and industry standards.

The AD-DSL is an essential tool for the aerospace and defense industry, encompassing a comprehensive list of 2,061 substances that are subject to various regulatory requirements. These substances are critical for compliance with regulations such as REACH, RoHS, and the U.S. Toxic Substances Control Act, among others. The list aids companies in managing the use of these substances in their products and supply chains, thereby promoting environmental sustainability and safety.

Version 8.0 of the AD-DSL includes significant updates that reflect changes in global regulatory requirements. It revises the regulatory criteria definitions for substances, allowing users to determine whether each substance is subject to product or material restrictions, reporting requirements, or combinations of these factors. This ensures that companies have the most current information to support compliance and risk management activities.
