IAEG AD-PFAS Version 2.0 Available in CDX

Mai 19, 2026

As of May 19, 2026, CDX has been updated to include Version 2.0 of the IAEG Per- and Polyfluorinated Alkyl Substances List (AD-PFAS), published by the International Aerospace Environmental Group (IAEG).

The AD-PFAS is a reference list of per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS) that may be present in aerospace and defense (A&D) products or in materials used for their maintenance, repair, and overhaul. The list is compiled from governmental chemical inventories and substance use data, and is indexed by CAS Registry Number and IAEG number to support consistent identification across the supply chain.

Version 2.0 introduces several changes compared to Version 1. The most significant update is the assignment of IAEG numbers to all listed substances, enabling more precise identification. Additionally, four newly identified PFAS have been added to the list, including fluorinated polymer compounds relevant to surface treatment and coating applications. At the same time, three substances: Polyvinyl fluoride (PVF), 1-bromo-1,1-difluoroethane, and carbon tetrafluoride have been removed from the list following a determination that they do not meet the general PFAS definition.

Users are advised to review their substance declarations in CDX against the updated AD-PFAS V2.0 to ensure accurate and complete reporting. The full list is available on the IAEG website.
