Minnesota Extends PFAS-in-Products Reporting Deadline

Oktober 21, 2025

Manufacturers now have until July 1, 2026 to file their initial reports on intentionally added PFAS in products sold in Minnesota. The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency used its statutory authority under Amara’s Law to move the deadline from January 1 2026, giving companies six extra months to:

  • Secure supplier agreements for reporting
  • Learn the new fall 2025 reporting platform

This extension is final, not a proposal, and aims to improve data quality for PFAS pollution prevention.

What this means for business

Manufacturers should use the extra time to finalize data-sharing arrangements and test the upcoming online system. Early preparation will ensure accurate, timely submissions and help avoid enforcement actions once reporting opens.
