2024-09-04 - IPC-1752: Compliance Update and CDX integration

The IPC-1752A standard, an essential tool for materials declaration management in the electronics industry, was last updated in July 2024. This update reflects ongoing efforts to enhance the standard's capabilities in facilitating compliance with environmental regulations such as RoHS and REACH. The IPC-1752A standard provides a structured framework for the exchange of material composition information, enabling manufacturers and suppliers to communicate effectively about the substances used in their products.

This update includes revisions to Table B2 (RoHS Annex III) and Table B4 (Annex XIV), aligning the Compliance Data eXchange (CDX) exemptions with the current IPC-1752A standard.

With these changes, CDX is now fully integrated with the latest IPC-1752A version, allowing users to efficiently manage and exchange material declarations while ensuring compliance and supply chain transparency.
