Canada Releases Multi-Year Chemical Assessment Priorities Under CEPA

On July 23, 2025, Environment and Climate Change Canada published its Plan of Priorities, a multi-year roadmap identifying 30 chemicals—including nanoscale silver, zinc oxide, and titanium dioxide - targeted for assessment under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA). The list may be updated over time and will undergo a formal review in eight years.
